Transfiguration is artist Ning Li's meditation on life — the inner metamorphosis she has undergone through self-searching and continuous reflection.
Faced with the turbulence and uncertainty of world affairs in recent years, she has felt deeply the weight of pressure bearing down on people in contemporary society. This has led her to observe, listen to, and reflect on the many phenomena of reality from multiple perspectives.
In traditional Eastern culture, Ning Li has found a path toward inner peace and wisdom, and she has transformed this understanding into artistic creation. Working across calligraphy, photography, installation, and digital art, she records details and objects from daily life that are often overlooked, revealing an "extraordinary beauty within the ordinary."
Through her work, she raises a deeply philosophical question: "Who am I? Who is I?"
This is a tracing back of identity and existence, and it is also the spiritual journey she unfolds through art — inviting the viewer to enter, alongside her, a space of introspection and awareness.
